Noel David Thomas Gallagher


Born: 29th May 1967

Q magazine onced hailed him as the "Greatest Songwriter of the 90s. Married to Meg Matthews, Mr and Mrs Noel Gallagher are currently residing in North London, though Noel has recently bought a huge mansion in Buckinghamshire.

Some truths you never knew about Noel:

  • He once meet Morrissey on the street and invited him to his birthday party-Morrissey declined
  • He's dyslexic. "Anything over six letters and that's me gone. Sometimes I give lyrics to Liam and two key words of a sentence will be missing."
  • He's really left-handed, though he plays the guitar right-handed.
  • He briefly considered replacing Bernard Butler in Suede, but rejected the idea. "The thing about Bernard leaving is that the only person who could replace him is, like, me.And I've got far better things to do."
  • "Drugs are too boring for me, I've kicked it on the head." Noel gave up drugs and has not used them since June 1998.
